What does Power With mean to you?

To me it means unity, sharing, being one and understanding. Together as a community we thrive and reach places we never thought we would. It’s a community of brilliant minded people who soon become like family and help you progress in every single way from hobbies and wellbeing to learning and random interests.

What do you do at Power With?

I do a bit of everything. I’ve helped plan and deliver a community event, provided tech support at our community meets, participated in meetings about Power With’s branding and strategy, done graphic art for marketing materials, and bought my lived experiences to spaces where I previously wouldn’t have had access to.

What do you bring to Power With?

A random fountain of knowledge that is my brain 😅 and a lot of life/lived experiences with a multitude of things and a quirky sense of humour aha. And a different way of looking at things through a neuro-divergent lens from insights to out of the box thinking and ideas.

How have you grown from being part of Power With so far?

I have grown as a person in whole. I’m more aware of how I phrase things when I speak, I am also more confident to be the person to raise their hand and say I don’t understand a word you have just said 😅, I’ve got less self doubt about my abilities.
